It's been done before. Goldeneye & Perfect Dark on N64. Plug controllers in port's 1&2, then in options select controller type 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 or 2.4.
Most controllers don't work well one handed, N64 and Wii controllers are few exceptions.

Also, the sixaxis only senses tilt of the pad. So you couldn't whip it around like a Wii.

Where's the case made out of lego's?

Try to make us a DS channel to play DS games on the Wii.
Just use the DS/Wii connectivity. Just make it display one of the screens on the TV. For games like Castlevania or Mega Man ZX, one screen on the TV is all we need.

The DS can be the controller, and have the game being played in it.

Goodbye to Discs
Really, we've been using discs since the phonograph. Yes, they're that old. I can see flash cards taking their place someday. You make a 5GB game, why pay for 50GB on a Blu-ray? I see Nintendo trying this one first. Microsoft? Maybe, but I see them pushing online game downloads. Sony? Not a chance, disc's have been too good to them.

The Dual GPU
It hasn't been done since the Saturn, but Dual GPU has gotten much better since then. Just ask a PC gamer. ...

Really, I never saw Blu-ray or HD-DVD taking off for that matter. Why? They both lack real innovation.

When it came to VHS vs DVD, for the consumer DVD had new things like chapter select, deleted scenes, interviews, better sound, a clearer picture, etc. It was just so much more advanced and easier to use than VHS.

But today, Blu-ray, For the consumer it's just like DVD... except it's HD.

The only innovation Blu-ray had that Sony sold movie studio's on wa...

Could've been better, bad camera killed it.

It's really the Dev's who decide what resolutions the game can run in.

Sure, you can blame Sony for not putting a scaler in, or you can blame the Dev's for not supporting more resolutions.

Hard to choose... so.. heres a list.

SNES- Mega Man X3
GEN- Sonic 3 & Knuckles
PS1- Valkyrie Profile
SAT- Panzer Dragoon Saga
N64- Sin & Punishment
DC- Jet Grind Radio
PS2- Xenosaga
XBOX- Panzer Dragoon Orta
GC- Star Fox Assult
PC- Jazz Jackrabbit 2

Thats the games that held the most replay value for me, I won't go into newer games, simply because you can't play a game a short time and call it the greatest...

Sometime, they might take a terrible game, then slap "Final Fantasy" on it to increase sales, get better reviews, and make fans blindly preach how great the game is. I'm sure they already have, and you just haven't realized it yet.

Here's an example: Sonic the Hedgehog

When you take a story from a movie, and apply it to a game, most of the time, it just doesn't work. Lets say, this movie has 5 action scenes.. that's 5 stages, so you make boring areas into stages, which end up being pointless and boring. Or, better yet, make up things that never happened in the movie. And if the movie was bad enough it'd be too hard to do that, totally make up a story of what happened after the movie, or before.
The same thing happens when applying a game story to a mo...

If anyone could compete with Nintendo on Innovation, it was Sega. Especially the controllers, they were boxes with buttons before Sega. And isn't an Xbox controller just a dreamcast controller with a 2nd analog stick and a couple extra buttons?
Even some of their scrapped ideas are popping up now. Motion Sensing (Air NiGHTS anyone?) Hard Drive (at the time, Zip was more efficient) A/V out on a portable.

If there was a DC2 to come out, I think it would be more like PS3/360 o...

-With hardware limitations
PS1 had better graphics than N64.
But N64 with an expansion pack had better graphics than PS1.

-WIthout hardware limitations
I've also played both consoles on emulators (I legally own the games) at 2048 x 1536 resolution (eat that PS3/360) N64 games look great, especially expansion pack games. PS1 games mostly come up a little blocky, but a handfull are great too.

Hey, I remember playing the Saturn way back, enjoying games in which were then HD, playing games in resolutions PS1 owners could only dream about.

Actually, the first hardware manufacturer to return to recordable media was Phillips with the CD-i, then Sega had the Sega CD, and Atari even had a Jaguar CD, oh, and NEO GEO. and I'm probably missing a couple.

I got a PS2 along with FFXI and after 6 weeks, something went wrong with the HDD, it would run really slow, have to load new areas, until eventually, I'd get a DRE. Yes, a DRE on an HDD. So... it was time to call sony..
First call: I get this woman, I explain whats happening, she's telling me to try to reinstall and run the HDD tools disc, which I already did. When it became obvious that she wouldn't be able to solve the issue over the phone, she just plain hung up on me.

Covers alot of the good games people overlook (fur fighters anyone :p)

The top 2 I agree with
Jet Grind Radio is a must have for anyone with a Dreamcast.

Phantasy Star Online, This was the game that made every game company say "me too!" and announce plans for online games.
Example: FFXI - it was actually first announced for all consoles (DC PS2 XBOX GC PC) Square's dream to unify all gamers together under one game, it was shot down by sony.

Gotta agree with you there, I remember the first time I fought Ramirez on Skies of Arcadia. I was beating him down, used almost all my items, only to find out in the end he was an unbeatable.

OK, I busted a game doing this one before. Perfect Dark on the N64. Use the X-ray goggles, watch an enemy behind a wall track you with his gun. Use the X-ray rifle and watch enemies across the level do the same thing.
Here's a glitch, if the enemy behind the wall puts his gun through the wall tracking you, he will shoot and will hit you, and no you can't shoot back.

I've predicted a few things in the past, let's see...

Dual GPU's: PC's already do it, why not?
Who's likely to try first? anyone's ballgame.

The ditching of the disc: I think as flash cards are steadily becoming bigger and cheaper, I think they'll become more efficient and less expensive to develop on then the old disc.
The reason, you can save money by buying the card that fits the game. PS3 developers pay for 50GB of space, when they're only using 5-7GB...
